FEUP, Faculty of Engineering U.Porto
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) is the largest faculty from U.Porto. FEUP undertakes activities in the realms of education, research, and innovation at international level. The results of these activities lead to the creation and transmission of knowledge, training of competent and ethical professionals, and future leaders in engineering and similar areas, and also the promotion of wellbeing of our global society.
FERNANDO MONTEIRO
PhD in Materials Engineering and he is a full professor at University of Porto. He is also a senior researcher at Institute of Research and Innovation in Health (i3S), Group Leader of Biocomposites group and President of INEB.
MADALENA DIAS
PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, Texas, USA in 1984 in the area of simulation in Flow of Porous Media. She is an Associate Professor at FEUP pursuing research in Product Engineering. In January of 2013, she assumed the direction and scientific coordination of the Associate Laboratory LSRE- LCM.
JOSÉ CARLOS LOPES
PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, Texas, USA in 1984 in the area of Multiphase Fluid Mechanics. In 2005 he founded Fluidinova, a spin-off from FEUP. He is an Associate Professor at FEUP, pursuing research at the Associate Laboratory LSRE-LCM in the area of Product Engineering.
